Iranian leader makes claims about President

Nazarbayev claimed victory in the Kazakh President vote(AFP) - 35 minutes ago

ASTANA - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev claimed victory in the presidential election of the country, said preliminary figures showed that he win.

"Preliminary data from the Central Electoral Commission and survey data have found that the Kazakh people, our citizens, the work endorse what I all these 20 years have done," said the Kazakh President on Monday.

"What other honors, what other support for a person is required, of the land-the President," said the veteran Kazakh leader in apparent reference to Western criticism for the vote.
