Twitter is always the place for parody with a cast of characters, the an elusive Cobra, one drunk Queen of England, politicians spew a profanity American and includes a maladroit BP spokesman.
The latest entry in the Twitter was comedy sweepstakes @ BronxZoosCobra, a Twitter feed, which allegedly from the Bronx Zoo's escaped Naja Haje, the more than 200,000 followers in less than four days accumulate.
The poisonous snake can be recognised in the Reptile House his legions with his adventures in New York City and his witty tweets were on Thursday, but not with my joy of followers.
"Leave Wall Street."My skin crawling make these guys hissed the snake on one of his first days of freedom.
Continuing his tour of the Big Apple, reports @ BronxZoosCobra, it was "of the Empire State building!" Everyone looks like small mice down there. "Delicious little mice."
For doubters in the Twittersphere, it tweets delivered a statement on only like a snake.
"Many people are questions as I can tweet no access to a computer or finger," said @ BronxZoosCobra. "Ever heard an iPhone?" "Duh."
Among the many followers of tweeting Cobra was New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, citing the snake on his account @ MikeBloomberg Twitter on Wednesday.
"Today President Obama and I toured NYC's Museum of natural history." We a 94-foot whale, but not @ BronxZoosCobra saw, "said Bloomberg."
The @ BronxZoosCobra brought a variety of other Twitter accounts from a honey badger in the Bronx Zoo-@ BronxZooHBadger--the @ BronxZoosCobra around the town of creeping say you.
Reptiles are not the only comedian on Twitter.
There are scores of accounts imitative celebrities and politicians, some, deservedly, with only dozens of followers while other tens of thousands have.
Is an account that has drawn more than 161,000 fans @ Queen_UK that lovingly portrays fun on the Queen of England, she is a benevolent leader with a penchant for Gin.
Mocking the British politician with the weather, it is also England's traditional rival, the French.
"Sarkozy on the phone." He has sent two levels of Libya in the evacuation. Good, that it, to the entire French air force available, "she tweeted recently."
On a rare sunny day in London, she fired: "In the celebration of the British sunshine, one is declaring an early Gin watch." "Home time young and girls."
While @ Queen_UK is unfailingly elegant, is on the other side of the Atlantic @ MayorEmanuel, on account of the famous parody foul-mouthed Rahm Emanuel, the former White House Chief of staff of the Mayor was elected Chicago in February.
Virtually every Tweet in the account @ MayorEmanuel was interrupted by a cry or two and the feed almost 50,000 followers moved to the author of outed on the day after the election and it shut down.
The actual Rahm Emanuel confessed with a fan of his imitator, even though his own much less colorful Twitterkonto--@ RahmEmanuel--was followed by far fewer people.
One was the earliest and cleverest parody accounts on Twitter @ BPGlobalPR, who claimed British Petroleum public Department during last year's massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Rotate it parodied relentless BP efforts to the disaster with tweets dripping with satire.
"Please not or clean oil you find on the beach." "This is the property of British Petroleum and we will, to sue," one said.
"Thousands of people are attacked by sea creatures every year." We at BP are the reduction in this number. "You're welcome!"said another.
