Richard Goldstone under the leadership of the UN Gaza request in the year 2009 has Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai UN war crimes prosecutor, Richard Goldstone, invited to visit Israel.The move comes after Mr Goldstone key findings of a UN report, Israel withdrawn targeted civilians during its offensive 22-day in the Gaza Strip two years ago accused.
The South African lawyer who is Jewish, had in Israel of the report findings been vilified.
But Mr Yishai now welcomed the retraction and invited him to Israel.
The Israeli Minister of the Interior told Army Radio that he had offered a tour of the southern Israeli communities Mr Goldstone, the decades have endured the Palestinian rocket attacks.
U turnThe Goldstone report, published potential war crimes of Israel and the Palestinian militant group, Hamas in September 2009 completed, while the 2008-2009 Gaza conflict were committed.
Israel refused to cooperate with the investigation accuse the Panel of is distorted. It, however, lead independent investigations in more than 400 allegations of misconduct.
An opinion piece in the Washington Post on Friday wrote Mr Goldstone, that the Israeli research recognised by a UN Committee, pointed out that "civilians not intentionally were targeted as a matter of policy".
Israel has since demanded that the UN scrap the report.
But the UN Human Rights Commission has said that it is in the report. A spokesman said that Mr Goldstone would submit a formal request if he wanted it changed.
Israel says, that it launched operation cast lead in response to repeated rocket attacks on Israeli territory by militant in Gaza.
Some 1,400 Palestinians have been killed, including hundreds of civilians as 13 Israelis.
