Houston child brings weapons to fire, school 3 injured

A kindergartener brought a weapon in his elementary school in Houston and was among the three students injured by fragments when he fell from his pocket during the lunch hour and accidentally fired, officials said.

One of the balls at 11 a.m. in the cafeteria of the school, spraying fragments to students, said Houston Independent School District Assistant Chief of Police Robert mocks.

"Some type of chips off the coast of the floor, or it could be pieces of the round unloaded, said mock." They had a few cuts and tips on their legs, they do not appear to be life threatening. ?

Two boys 6 years, including one who had the gun, were injured in the foot, said spokesman district Jason Spencer. A 5 year old girl also suffered a foot injury, said Spencer.

Images taken by helicopter to Houston television station KPRC new show three children being wheeled ambulance on stretcher. All were seated and seemed to speak with emergency personnel. Upset parents rushed to the scene.

Houston is the largest school district in the State with more than 200,000 students.
