(CNN) - –a Kentucky woman Thursday on charges of kidnapping and murder of a pregnant woman, said police, was arrested and have been testing is performed to determine whether the victim took child.

Authorities at the bowling green medical center called police Wednesday of a "suspicious birth" to a woman as Kathy Michelle coy, 33, came to the hospital with a newborn young claims that it was, said Bowling Green Police spokesman Jonathan Biven.

In a subsequent investigation detectives, a highway in Oakland, Kentucky is the remains of the 21-year-old Jamie Stice in a wooded area.

Investigators currently perform are forensic to determine whether the baby is a genetic match in Stice of added Biven.

The baby remains at the medical center, where he will be for the next few weeks, he said.

"From what I they had each told gathered, it was schwanger-- her family, husband friends," wonder said.

Coy is expected to formally be charged with Tuesday. It was not immediately clear whether coy had acquired legal assistance.
